Blankenburger Straße is located in the Peterswerder district of Bremen. It leads off Osterdeich (“Eastern Dyke“). Directly behind Osterdeich you enter the recreation area by the River Weser and the sports grounds of SV Werder Bremen.
By Car:
Leave the A 1 at the Exit Arsten and continue towards the City Centre; cross the River Weser and turn left at the first crossroads regulated by traffic lights. After 300 metres - directly after passing a petrol station – turn right into Treseburger Straße; at ist end turn left into Hamburger Straße and left again into the next street which is Blankenburger Straße, your destination.
By Bike or on Foot:
Follow the River Weser from the City Centre till you have passed the football stadion (“Weser Stadion“). You will then see a petrol station to your left on Osterdeich; take the last street off Osterdeich before you reach that petrol station – which is Blankenburger Straße.
By Rail:
From Bremen Main Station (“Hauptbahnhof“) you can take a taxi to Blankenburger Straße. Alternatively you can take No 10 Tram (direction “Sebaldsbrück“) and change at the 4th stop (“Sielwall“) to No 3 Tram (direction: “Weserwehr“). Again get off at the 4th stop (“Nienburger Straße“). Blankenburger Straße then turns off directly on your left.
By Plane:
From the airport you can get a taxi to Blankenburger Straße. Alternatively you can go by No 6 Tram (direction: “Universität“). Change to No 3 Tram (direction: “Weserwehr) at “Domsheide“, the first stop after crossing the River Weser. Get off at the 7th stop (“Nienburger Straße“). Blankenburger Straße then turns off directly on your left.
By Tram:
From the City Centre take No 3 Tram (direction :“Weserwehr“). Get off at “Nienburger Straße“. Blankenburger Straße then turns off directly on your left.
